The Greene County Rams lost a pair of home varsity games to the HOIAC Nevada Cubs Friday night.
The girls were walloped 22-57. “Nevada is a really good team, but we need to do a better job of taking care of the ball. We had a hard time finding the basket tonight,” head coach Chad Morton said. “We will have a couple more chances at them. Hopefully we can make the changes we need to by the next time we play them.”
Kayla Mobley scored 10 of the team’s 22 points. The girls are now 9-8 overall and 8-7 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference.
The boys lost 58-50 to fall to 5-10 overall and 4-9 in the Heart of Iowa.
